Yes. Fixes happen in dedicated branches with clean pull requests, coordinated asynchronously. You or your team keep shipping features — we just agree on which areas are "under repair" so we don't collide.
It happens — repairs sometimes expose problems the audit couldn't see from the outside. When it does, I flag it immediately with options and honest effort estimates. The scope never grows silently, and nothing gets added to the invoice without your explicit approval.
You ship. Many clients then continue with the Engineering Retainer ($4,000/mo) to keep the codebase under professional control as it grows — but there's no obligation. The handoff is designed so you can continue entirely on your own.
